Beautiful, Bright Interior – Designed for Relaxation
'We welcome well-behaved dogs with careful owners. (ONE only and not above 10 kg.) A paw washing station is provided by the back door, a portable gate to secure the garden. No pets upstairs or on the furniture, please.
Please clean up after the dog should there be an accident. Please note for accessibility that there are eight steps leading up to the front door at St. Keyne and these steps don't have a railing on the left-hand side.
Step inside to a bright and welcoming first-floor landing, leading to a spacious sitting room filled with natural light. The sitting room features comfortable seating, and a Smart TV ( login to use your subscription account ). Have fun with the selection of board games. French doors that open onto a terrace where you can enjoy the views. A dining table is also available in this area, perfect for family meals or a cosy dinner.
The family bathroom has a shower cubicle (fitted with an electric Triton shower) and bath, underfloor heating, a heated towel rail, twin basins, a WC, and a bath – making it ideal for unwinding after a day at the beach.
St. Keyne offers comfortable accommodation for up to 6 guests. Each bedroom is designed for a restful night’s sleep:
• Bedroom 1: A king-size bed with built-in wardrobes, a dressing table, and ample storage, with a window overlooking the rear of the house.
• Bedroom 2: A double bedroom with two dormer windows and a window facing the front, featuring a desk and table for added convenience.
• Bedroom 3: A spacious twin bedroom and has a second children’s TV with a Google Chromecast adaptor. Plenty of space and a clothes hanger. Two dormer windows and a rear-facing window.
There is also a cloakroom on this floor, equipped with a toilet and basin for added convenience.
Well-equipped kitchen and Dining Space
The kitchen/dining room is fully equipped for preparing meals, complete with a Flavel Aspen 100 oven (gas hob and electric oven), dishwasher, Bosch fridge/freezer, Magimix Nespresso coffee machine, microwave, toaster, kettle, and a cafetiere. The dining area is set up with a table and chairs, and the kitchen window offers stunning views over the valley.

A superb stay! The location was perfect and the house was clean, well equipped and wonderful throughout. Beds were super comfortable and we had everything we needed. Will definitely book again!
Lovely home with fabulous views, short walk to the coast and a 20 minute walk to the centre of Shaldon and the ferry to Teignmouth. A good walk uphill on the way back to burn all the calories of ice cream and Devon Cream Tea. St Keyne has everything you need for a comfortable stay in Devon. Parking at the property was a great addition as limited parking locally but might be a challenge for two family cars. We will be back.

This is a beautifully presented and well equipped base for a holiday in Devon. The rooms are light and airy and extremely comfortable. Parking is a real bonus, especially in Shaldon, where few properties have parking on site. You can take a picturesque walk into the centre of Shaldon along the river Teign which takes about 20 minutes. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and hope to book again.
We stayed in this lovely holiday home for the recent bank holiday weekend. Beautiful home in a beautiful location. Very bright and clean. It had everything we needed, really nicely decorated with a lot of new furnishings. The kitchen was well stocked with enough crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. The host was easy to communicate with and very helpful with any questions we had, would happily come back and would definitely recommend!

St Keynes is a spacious and airy property that has parking (for one medium sized car and a small car at a squeeze), and is a nice quiet location about 15-20 minutes walk from the ferry over to Teignmouth. We went as a mixed family group of 5 including my partner and made the most of the spacious kitchen for cooking and were glad of an extra toilet and sink upstairs (no shower) in addition to the main bathroom downstairs. Overall a very nice location and great if you want to be out a bit from the hustle and bustle of Teignmouth, an easy 15 minute walk to Shaldon and ferry ride during the day time over to Teignmouth
