Situated in a prime location, just a minute’s walk from the beach and close to all the village amenities. Central heating throughout for the cooler periods.

The spacious sitting room has one sofa, two chairs, a Smart  TV, a micro sound system, WiFi and a bay window overlooking the front terrace. Door leading through to kitchen/dining room. The well-equipped modern built-in kitchen has a Bosch induction hob and oven, microwave oven, Fridge/Freezer, kettle, toaster and a circular dining table with 4 chairs. The back door leads to a narrow outside space, perfect for storing paddle boards and a gate to the ally.

Stairs leading to:

Bedroom 1: Master double bed, with bedside drawers and lamps, built-in storage and bay window overlooking Albion Street and hills beyond. Bedroom 2: Twin bedroom with bedside cupboard, lamp and built-in storage.

The family bathroom has a Mira Sport shower over the bath, WC, basin and heated towel rail.

Cherra Cottage is a delightful seaside property, perfectly situated to explore all that Devon has to offer. There are a few public parking spaces in front of the property, but availability can’t be guaranteed. The Ness car park is a 5-minute walk away. We kindly request that pets stay downstairs, do not sit on the chairs and are not left unattended.

Explore the village: Take a stroll around Shaldon's narrow streets and alleyways, lined with colourful cottages, shops, pubs and restaurants.

Visit the beach: Shaldon has a lovely beach, known as Ness Cove, which is accessible via a smugglers’ tunnel through the cliffs. There are also several other beaches nearby, including Teignmouth Beach.

Go crabbing: The Shaldon Wildlife Trust organises crabbing sessions for children, a fun activity to do at the nearby rock pools.

Visit Shaldon Zoo: The Shaldon Wildlife Trust is a small zoo that focuses on the conservation of rare and endangered species, including primates, birds, and reptiles.

Take a walk on the South West Coast Path: Shaldon is located on the South West Coast Path, a long-distance walking trail that offers stunning views of the Devon coastline.

Visit the Homeyards Botanical Gardens: The Botanical Gardens are located on a steep hillside overlooking the village and offer beautiful views of the estuary.

Visit the nearby town of Teignmouth: A lovely seaside town with a Victorian pier, a lido, and plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants.
