We had a wonderful stay at The Rosary over Christmas. The cottage is both cosy and comfortable, yet light and airy, making it a perfect retreat. The separate lounge was a great space to relax and enjoy some peace and quiet when needed. There were seven of us, plus our little dog, and there was plenty of room for everyone. The cottage has a lovely view over the estuary, and the kitchen/dining area is bright and spacious. The kitchen is well-equipped, making it ideal for preparing our Christmas lunch and meals. We were made to feel very welcome, with thoughtful touches like dog towels (if needed) and extra blankets to keep us warm if needed. The cottage was very warm and was spotlessly clean, and we appreciated the little extras that made our stay even more comfortable. We would absolutely stay again – a perfect time spent with all of our family.
We have just returned from a week away in this lovely cottage with an amazing view. It will take some beating. Situated In a quiet spot with only a short walk to amenities. Don’t have a bad word to say only that we only booked a week & not more .
The Rosary is well presented, well looked after and has all the facilities and supplies you could need (not to mention an amazing shower!). It has lots of lovely character and is clearly a much loved holiday home. Not only is it close to a lovely little park, it is within walking distance of shops, a butchers and bakers, some lovely pubs and the beach. What obviously makes The Rosary so perfect though is it’s fabulous location. The views inside and out take your breath away and our boys love nothing more than paddling with the dog whilst watching the trains go past on the other side of the estuary. Sipping a glass of wine whilst taking in the view is truly a little bit of paradise and we thank the owners for sharing it with others.
