We love Magnet Cottage
Magnet cottage is absolutely stunning!! If you are looking for a little getaway in a quiet, calm and beautiful place, then this cottage in Shaldon is ideal. Right around the corner is the river tein, and the bridge over to Teignmouth, with such amazing lush views!! Then a short walk away is the tiny shaldon village and stunning beach. This cottage has everything you possible need, it’s absolutely spotless and cozy, a real home from home. I loved every single second there, the bedrooms were beautiful, every single detail was perfection!! I miss it already! I cannot explain enough how much me and my mum loved it…….. thank you for providing such a beautiful place to stay while in the gorgeous Shaldon. Absolutely no complaints, just wonderful!! I’ve only just found out too, that where the cottages are, was once a caravan park, where my family use to holiday in the late 50s, how crazy!!!!

Our second year at Magnet Cottage. Loved it again. Beautiful cottage and close to amenities. Shaldon village itself is only a few minutes walk with lots of places to eat. Lovely beach too. Thank you once again. We will be back.

Second year at Magnet and as before accommodation excellent with an added bonus of the garage. The cottage has everything you could ask for for an enjoyable time.Very convenient for Shipwright Arms, The Ness, The London for eating out.Weather was excellent. Have already booked 2024.

Magnet Cottage is ideally located for easy access to several good eateries and the ferry across to Teignmouth. The garage space is much appreciated, although unsuitable for large cars. The property is very well equipped, has a very homely feel, with good Wi-Fi.
